Tapsee pannu was born 1 August 1987.She is an indian model turned in film actress.she was worked in telugu,tamil,malayalam and hindi Industries.

Tapsee appeared in commercial ads like "Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face" & "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin" in 2008.

Taapsee made her acting debut movie with the 2010 Tollywood movie(Telugu film) "Jhummandi Naadam" directed by Raghavendra Rao. Since then, she has appeared in a no.of critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju, Mr. Perfect, and Vandhaan Vendraan movies. Her Tamil film "Aadukalam" met with critical acclaim and enjoyed commercial movie success upon release and eventually went on to win 6 National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards. She has also worked in a Malayalam film industry & has been signed in for 3 Telugu films and a Hindi film.Tasee Pannu was awarded Most Enthusiastic Performer-Female Award at 2014 Edison Awards for her performance in Tamil film "Arrambam" movie.
